Supervision Council of special economic zone “Alabuga” chaired by Rustam Minnikhanov recommended two investment projects for consideration at Experts council under RF Ministry of economic development

Session of Supervision Council of special economic zone “Alabuga” was held in House of RT government chaired by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov.

A number of investment projects which pretend to be placed on the territory of special economic zone “Alabuga” and launching new production were presented to members Supervision Council.
Thus, OOO “Pixar Coatings” applied for getting the status of resident. It represents the project jointly realized with Italian company on producing paint and varnish production. Volume of investments is meant to be 615 mln. roubles, output capacity – 10 000 tons of production per year. Launching of production in case of getting the status of resident – 2012. The project is meant to be realized in two stages.

Director General of JSC “special economic zone “Alabuga” Vasily Kudryashov informed that all documents of OOO “Pixar Coatings” had been prepared in accordance with legislative regulations.
Chairman of Supervision Council of special economic zone “Alabuga” – President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov assessed the project as a perspective one.

The second project presented by the group on commercial production of minerals was holding Sisecam (Turkey). The company’s official informed that ZAO “Dhzamish” likewise pretends to get the resident status. Their project implies construction of plant on re-processing of industrial raw materials for procurement to the plant on glass production (company “Trakia Glass Rus”, holding Sisecam). The expected production volume is 70 000 tons per year, investments - 8-10 mln. US dollars. The production is to be launched in the middle of 2013.

Rustam Minnikhanov suggested that the project would be also introduced for consideration by RF Ministry of economic development.
