Rustam Minnikhanov met with delegation of Israel and Palestine

Today President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with Governor of Gilboa district council (Israel) Dani Atar and Deputy Governor of Dzhenin province (Palestine) Abdalla Barakat.
Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that officials of Palestine and Israel had arrived in Kazan together, thus showing the example of peaceful co-existence of two brotherly nations – European and Arabic.
President told about economic potential of Tatarstan, educational and cultural spheres.
For the present moment certain connections are established with Israel and Palestine in the sphere of humanities and culture. City dwellers may become familiar with Israel and Plestine cinema. Students of both states study at Kazan universities, Tatarstan specialists exchange experience with Israel colleagues in some areas. But still the level of our economic relations is very low, Rustam Minnikhanov said.
Governor of Gilboa district council (Israel) Dani Atar noted that the way Tatarstan develops relations between various religions and nations is an exemplary one. By his words, Tatarstan experience in uniting people of different religions is very important for Israel and Palestine.
Dani Atar told about experience of joint economic interaction between Israel district Gilboa and Palestine city Dzhenin. As a result, special industrial Arabic-Israel zone started functioning. Governor of district council of Gilboa invited Tatarstan President to visit this zone.
Official of Palestine autonomy Abdalla Barakat also noted that it is extremely difficult to solve the problem of relationships between Israel and Palestine without help of international society. Mr Barakat hopes that Tatarstan will make its contribution.
In the meeting took part Director General of All-Israel Association of Tatarstan immigrants Leondi Litinetsky, Deputy Governor on connections with Dzhenin province Iad Salim, Head of Administration of Gilboa district council Alona Shaul. Tatarstan was presented by Aide to RT President – Director of department for external relations under RT President Timur Akulov, Aide to RT President Iskander Mouflikhanov, RT Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic.
