On June 21, Mongolia – Tatarstan business forum was held within the framework of a two-day working visit of Tatarstan delegation led by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to Ulan-Bator.
“On behalf of our delegation, I welcome representatives of the Mongolian business gathered in this hall and interested in developing relations with Tatarstan," Minnikhanov said, welcoming participants of the forum.
He thanked the leadership of Russia and Mongolia for the support of joint projects and assistance in developing interregional cooperation. “Tatarstan encourages the expansion of mutually beneficial relations and is ready to render overall assistance in this regard,” he pointed out.
"We expect that the business community will open new areas for cooperation and agree on joint projects at the event," Tatarstan President said. He pointed out the existed experience of cooperation, saying that Tatarstan supplies oil and petrochemical products, KAMAZ vehicles, equipment, food products to Mongolia.
Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov made presentation of trade and economic potential of the republic. Chief Executive of Tatartstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina told representatives of the Mongolian business about achievements of Tatarstan in attracting investments.
At the end of the forum, the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tatarstan signed a cooperation agreement in the presence of Rustam Minnikhanov.
