Chairman of RF Accounts Chamber Sergey Stepashin arrived in Kazan

Chairman of RF Accounts Chamber Sergey Stepashin has arrived in Tatarstan with two-day working visit.

Sergey Stepashin was received by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of RT Accounts Chamber Aleksey Demidov, RT Minister of interiors Asgat Safarov, Head of Federal security service department on RT Evgeny Vdovin in international airport “Kazan”.

On arriving, Head of RF Accounts Chamber accompanied by RT President saw a number of objects built on the threshold of Universiade 2013 and visited Universiade village. Sergey Stepashin assessed construction of buildings in Universiade village, surveyed the interior of rooms where students of Tatarstan universities live.

Later on, Sergey Stepashin took part in solemn opening of swimming-pool “Burevestnik” (pr.Pobedy). While holding Universiade-2013 this swimming-pool will be used for water polo competitions. Now this sport object is expected to be used for trainings of students of Volga state academy of physical culture, sport and tourism.

The main purpose of visit of Sergey Stepashin to the Republic of Tatarstan is participation in joint session of RF and RT Accounts Chambers that will be held on October, 29 in Kazan city hall.

Results of joint inspections of using subsidies of federal budget (in 2009 and 2010) and other sources of financing intended for organization and preparation of XXVII World summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan will be discussed at the session.
