On July 7, at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov chaired a regular board meeting of Tatspirtprom alcohol beverage manufacturer, which discussed results of financial-economic activity of the company, payment of taxes and fees to the budget and other current issues of the company's activities.
Khalikov said that Tatspirtprom achieved best results in its history in the second quarter. In general, Tatspirtprom sold 5.1 million decaliters of alcohol products in the first half of 2016. The company's revenue amounted to 19.6 billion roubles, or 149 per cent compared to the same period last year.
For the first time in its history, Tatspirtprom has sold more products outside Tatarstan than on the domestic market, multiplying sales in 2.5 times as compared with the first half of the last year. According to the National Alcohol Association, the company continues to hold first place in terms of sales among producers of vodka in Russia.
