Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in plenary meeting of Tatarstan Oil Summit

On July 13, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has paid a working visit to Bugulma region of Tatarstan, which is hosting  a traditional oil summit at the Neptun recreation center in the village of Karabash. 

Upon his arrival in Karabash, Minnikhanov accompanied by Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov and other officials looked around information stands of some enterprises, including Tatneft Oil Company, Kazan Federal University, and others. They presented the advanced technologies used in the oil industry as well as research and development in terms of operation of wells, development of new deposits, including the extraction of super-viscous oil.

Then Minnikhanov took part in a plenary meeting of the Oil Summit.

Advisor to Tatarstan President on oil industry Renat Muslimov, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Albert Karimov, Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov and others made their reports at the meeting.

In particular, Maganov said that the capitalization of the Tatneft group will be doubled by 2025.

Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia - Head of the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use Evgeny Kiselev, Deputy Minister of Energy of Russia Kirill Molodtsov, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin and other officials are taking part in the 2016 Oil Summit.
