Chairman of the Russian Federation Council Sergei Mironov is in Kazan for a two-day visit

Sergei Mironov, the Chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, came to Kazan for a two-day visit late on December 1.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin, member of the RF Federation Council Aleksei Pakhomov, Chief Federal Inspector for Tatarstan Marsel Galimardavnov and other officials met the guest at the Kazan International Airport.
Upon arrival, Sergei Mironov and Rustam Minnikhanov had a working meeting.
Then, the Chairman of the Federation Council and the Tatarstan President talked with journalists.
Mr. Mironov’s agenda includes visits to the Universiade 2013 Village, a number of sporting venues including the swimming pool Burevestnik, Kazan Tennis Academy. He will also meet with Tatarstan State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshim, deputies of the Tatarstan Statet Council and the Kazan City Duma, representatives of parties that did not enter the Tatarstan Parliament and the Youth Public Chamber.
In the afternoon, Sergei Mironov is expected to visit the IT-Park and to meet students at Kazan Federal University.
On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation.
The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.
On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
