Chairman of Federation Council of Russia Sergey Mironov: We have to enter federal level in terms of changing Tax on natural resources production

“Tatarstan has interesting experience that may be passed on to other Russian regions”, - Chairman of Federation Council of Russia Sergey Mironov announced on arriving in Kazan. This visit to a Russian region was the first after Address of RF President to Federal Assembly.
“President of Russia told about future of our country, about children, modernization, innovations. Tatarstan is a republic which demonstrates high rates in social - economic development and such issues as transfer to “E-government". Here not only Tatarstan government but State Council as well has been working in electronic form for a long time. Much has been done so that citizens may see on-line what the authorities are engaged in. This enables to provide civil and public control”.
“I am so happy that RT President invited me to come. Tomorrow I will hold meetings with deputies of RT State Council, City Council and activists of republic. We will discuss practical realization of RT President Address”.
Sergey Mironov reminded that Chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin is a member of Legislators Council and its Presidium. Currently a set of joint legislative initiatives is being prepared and it will be discussed at the meeting with members of Tatarstan parliament.
Sergey Mironov also considers that today Tax on natural resources production is charged unjustly.
By words of Sergey Mironov, during his next visit (May, June, 2011) he plans to hold “round table” on issues of oil production and differential tax on natural resources production.
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
