On August 25, during his working trip to Chistopol municipal region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Chistopol Industrial Park, where he got acquainted with the process of implementing new projects by its residents.
Minnikhanov looked around a plant of one of the residents under construction – Tatremstroi, where in his presence Tatremstroi and Energy Saving Technologies and Utilities Gasification Fund signed two agreements.
Then some companies presented their development projects to Tatarstan President.
Minnikhanov also met with heads of rural settlements, chiefs of production companies and associations based in Chistopol Region. Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Marat Akhmetov, Head of Chistopol municipal region Dmitry Ivanov and Member of Russian parliament Airat Khairullin took part in the meeting.
The meeting also discussed issues related to agriculture. The region has completed a harvesting campaign, gathering nearly 122,000 tonnes of grain, with an average yield of 24.7 centners per hectare. A sowing campaign is underway in the fields, 20,000 winter crops, or 40 percent of the entire amount of grain, planned to be planted, Minnikhanov was told.
