Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov: holding of mass sport events will promote increase in number of people going in for sports

Issues of keeping longevity and formation of culture of healthy way of life in Tatarstan were discussed in House of RT government at the meeting held by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov. The meeting was held within the limits of realization of RT President Address to RT State Council for 2011.
Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Rafis Burganov reported on development of physical culture and sport, formation of culture of healthy way of life in Tatarstan. He reminded that the conception of developing healthy way of life in oriented to the Strategy of developing physical culture and sport in the Russian Federation till 2020 (approved by RF government in 2009).
Rafis Burganov told in details about creation of conditions in republic for leading healthy way of life. By his words, his offer regarding reviving physical exercises during working day and industrial gymnastics was supported by heads of many enterprises.
Ministry of youth affairs, sport and tourism also offered holding sports contests among ministries and departments in 11 kinds of sport.
For today a draft program of developing physical culture and sport in RT for 2011-2015 years has been worked out.
RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov stressed that only 20,5 % of tatarstaners regularly go in for sports.
Ildar Khalikov thinks that holding of mass sport events will promote increase in number of people going in for sports. Besides, today many universities and institutions have access to sport complexes, gyms, swimming-pools.
RT Minister of health care Airat Farrakhov reported on providing high-tech medical aid in Tatarstan.
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
