Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan team should be stronger and more effective

On August 26, a traditional meeting of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with editors of leading electronic mass media agencies took place at the Kazan Kremlin. Representatives of three TV channels and four Internet agencies asked their questions.

Topical issues of socio-economic and public-political development of Tatarstan, major projects implemented in the republic in different spheres, plans and prospects for the future were discussed at the meeting. Speaking about success and leading positions of Tatarstan in Russia, Rustam Minnikhanov noted the role of Tatarstan Team.

Minnikhanov appreciated activity and professional skills of Tatarstan deputies at the State Duma emphasizing that strengthening of positions in the Lower Chamber of the Parliament is a priority task today.

“We have a strong team at the State Duma. This team should even be stronger and more effective. Many of our colleagues, who worked at the Duma, are candidates for elections. We are expecting effective work for the benefit of our electors, dwellers of the republic, towns, regions and townships, and workers of our enterprises. This is the task we set,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
