Rustam Minnikhanov unveils monument to the first oil well of Bavly oilfield
On August 27, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working trip in Bavly region to take part in events on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of NGDU “Bavlneft”.
Upon arrival, Rustam Minnikhanov unveiled the monument to to the first oil well of Bavly oilfield and laid flowers to the monument of the Tatar writer Fanis Yarullin.
Later the same day, Minnikhanov visited new swimming pool that opened in June this year. The investor of the construction was Tatneft Oil Company.
The president also visited the Youth Square that was reconstructed based on the ecological approach which implies protection of plants and trees, and the use of environmentally-friendly materials. Moreover, necessary conditions for people with limited mobility have been created.
The new recreation area is located close to the sanatorium, shool, kindergarten, mosque and residential estate.
