World championship 2018 may change the history of our country radically

World football championship 2018 may change the history of Russia radically. That is why members of FIFA committee gave preference to our country. Such opinion has been expressed today by Aide to RT President Iskander Muflikhanov at briefing in RT Cabinet.
We remind that Tatarstan President within the Russian delegation supported Russian bid at the session of FIFA executive committee in Zurich last week. Members of the committee made a historical decision on holding the championship – 2018 in Russia.
Kazan is one of the cities to host games of world championship. “World Univerisade 2013 will be held in Kazan, Winter Olympic games 2014 – in Sochi, and now Russia has won the right to host World football championship 2018”, - Iskander Muflikhanov said. These events will stimulate growth and development of infrastructure. Due to World Championship regional transport system among 14 cities hosting the games will become completely developed. Among these cities are St.Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Moscow, Podolsk, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Saransk, Samara, Volgograd, Sochi, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg.
By words of Iskander Muflikhanov, when the Russian bidding committee was being formed, the decision was made about including of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov into its membership.
“After Kazan was chosen as one of the cities in Russian bid for World football championship, members of FIFA committee visited the capital of Tatarstan. All of them were impressed by degree of preparedness of sport objects, our hospitality and how deeply leadership and citizens of republic understand the meaning of sport development, - Aide to RT President stressed. – I personally attended Russian presentation in Zurich. Tatarstan made a great contribution into Russia’s win”.
Iskander Muflikhanov thinks that members of FIFA committee believed that World football championship is much more for Russian than simply a competition process.
First deputy head of Kazan executive committee on economy Rustam Nigmatullin is sure that after holding Universiade-2013 Kazan will be ready to host World championship – 2018. It will stimulate development of transport and road infrastructure of the city, its recognition at international arena, development of entrance tourism in Kazan.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
