New building of RT ministry of forestry was solemnly opened in Kazan

New administrative building of RT ministry of forestry has been solemnly opened today in Novo-Savinovsky district of Kazan city. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of Forestry Department on Volga Federal District Andrey Karpilovich, RT Deputy Prime Minister – RT Minister of culture Zilya Valeeva, RT Minister of forestry Nail Magdeev and other officials took part in the opening ceremony.

New 5-floor building with area 63,2 thousand m² - Palace of forest is located opposite to Victory Park in Novo-Savinovsky district in Kazan. RT President stressed that construction of this building is a tribute to all republican foresters.

All cabinets of employees occupy just a third part of the total area. Except for the ministry itself, all territorial bodies of federal structures, republican departments, responsible for forestry issues will be located in this building.

Moreover, the Museum of Tatarstan forests that is being created now, will soon be opened on the second floor of the ministry. From now onwards a trade gallery “Gifts of forest” is planned to be opened for the purpose of promoting items produced by managing subjects of State budget institution “Forest”.

Andrey Karpilovich conveyed congratulations on opening new building from the Head of Russian forestry administration Viktor Maslyakov: “Today’s event shows the attitude towards forestry in Tatarstan, - he noted.
