A Tatarstan delegation led by President Rustam Minnikhanov visits Malaysia

December 14, the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan led by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is on a working visit to Malaysia.
The delegation includes Aide to the Tatarstan President Iskander Muflikhanov, Director General of Holding Company Ak Bars Ivan Yegorov, Director General of IFC Linova – President of the non-profit Foundation for Islamic Business and Finance Development Lenar Yakupov, Head of the Tatneft Financial Board Yevgeny Tikhturov and KAMAZ Deputy Director General Yevgeny Pronin.
The agenda of the visit has meetings with Malaysian leadership.
In Kuala Lumpur, Rustam Minnikhanov is also expected to have talks on issues regarding trade-economic, industrial and investment cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and Malaysia as part of Russia-Malaysia relations.
The Tatarstan delegation will stay in Malaysia through December 15, 2010.
On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation.
The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.
On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “
Throughout the history of our state, security agencies have stood guard over national interests of Russia and protected the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. Your high professionalism, courage and dedication to duty are a reliable shield against external and internal threats.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
