Address of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on the occasion of election of deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation

Dear citizens of Tatarstan!

The election campaign for election of deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation is nearly finished. A lot of suggestions have been received from electors. I want to assure you that the work of all state and municipal authorities will be aimed at their consideration. Positive results of economic development in the republic have become favourable prerequisites. We are opening new schools, kindergartens, parks, squares and embankment areas.

Dear electors, these elections are special because we are not only electing the lower chamber of parliament but determine the course of development for our country for the next five years. Wise and confident people live in Tatarstan. If we work together, we can deal with the most complicated and ambitious tasks. I am sure that you will take part in voting on September 18, and support those who will present our republic in the new Russian parliament. Strong regions such as Tatarstan make Russia a great country!
