Tatarstan President attends a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate

We can start to set the budget for the World Student Games 2013 (Universiade 2013) right away, Russian Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy Minister Vitaly Mutko said at the meeting of the Supervisory Council of the Kazan 2013 Executive Directorate. The meeting of the Supervisory Council was held in a video conference format between Moscow and Kazan.
The meeting was chaired by Russian Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy Minister Vitaly Mutko – Chairman of the Universiade 2013 Supervisory Council. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Director General of the Kazan 2013 Executive Board Vladimir Leonov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Tatarstan Construction, Architecture and Housing Minister Irek Faizullin and other officials attended the meeting.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
