Conception “Environmental protection while preparing and holding XXVII World summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan” developed in Tatarstan

A series of events in the sphere of ecology will be held in Kazan within the limits of preparation for holding World summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan. This has been announced today by Deputy Minister of natural resources and ecology of Russia Igor Maidanov at final session of RT Ministry of ecology and natural resources.
The event was held in hall of meetings of RT Ministry of ecology and natural resources (Kazan) with participation of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov.
RT Minister of ecology and natural resources Artem Sidorov reported on results of the ministry’s activity in 2010 and objectives for 2011. In particular, he stressed that Conception “Environmental protection while preparing and holding XXVII World summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan” had been already worked out. It is meant that within the limits of preparation for Universiade 2013 the following actions will be implemented: measures on decreasing the amount of harmful substances emitted into the atmosphere, landscaping of Kazan, protection of water objects, works on creating shore protection along water basins, e.t.c. Moreover, on the threshold of Universiade 2013 it is planned to construct modern site for household wastes and restoration of present ones and organize actions on its utilization.
Igor Maidanov thanked RT President for work being done in republic in the sphere of environmental protection and realization of nature conservation actions.

On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
