Tatarstan participates in Accessible Environment pilot project

Tatarstan, the Tver and Samara regions will in 2011 participate in the pilot project called Accessible Environment, the department of invalids at the Russian Health Ministry Grigory Lekarev has today told a Tatarstan Labour, Employment and Social Security Ministry staff meeting, attended by Tatarstan President R. Minnikhanov.
According to the department’s director, an integrated approach will be used in implementing the programme, measures will be taken in the social security, healthcare, culture, education, transport and other spheres. Organisations of invalids will be asked to consult, to provide feedback.
The funding in the three constituents in 2011-2012 is 1.5 billion roubles. Providing availability of the priority facilities and services for invalids is to be worked on at the next stage of the programme. Priority measures include building a barrier-free school environment, subtitling programmes on Russian TV channels, and supporting sports institutions in the regions.
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
