Prime Minister of Tatarstan opens new building of All-Russia state university of justice in Kazan

On October 17, Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, rector of All-Russia state university of justice Olga Aleksandrova, and other officials took part in the opening of new building of the university in Kazan.
“We are opening a new building of the Kazan branch of All-Russia state university of justice today. The modern building where our future lawyers will study is a gift from Tatarstan Government and President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov. We express our gratitude to Tatarstan President for supporting this idea and allocating funds,” Olga Aleksandrova said.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.

On 1 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize and Medal Award Ceremony held in Kazan Federal University and handed in the award to the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Researcher of the St. Petersburg Department of Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Ivanov who was awarded for the outstanding achievements in fundamental and applied mathematics.
