Head of Tatarstan Ministry of Health Adel Vafin: Professional medical community should create an intolerable environment towards any manifestations of corruption

On October 24, Acting Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in an extraordinary meeting of Ministry of Health of the republic at the Kazan Educational Center of Advance Medical Technologies.

Opening the meeting Khalikov noted it is dedicated to the discussion of measures to minimize the "petty corruption” in the health sector.

Making a keynote report at the meeting, Tatarstan Minister of Health Adel Vafin reminded, in particular, that speaking at a meeting of the Commission for coordinating work to fight against corruption in the republic held on October 17, 2016 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov severely criticized the health-care system for providing paid medical services, bribery, and other manifestations of corruption.

The Minister said that the number of reported crimes in the sphere of healthсare and social welfare has doubled. Vafin said that professional medical community should create an intolerable environment towards any manifestations of corruption.

Capital overhaul of social and cultural facilities completed in Tatarstan

On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.

On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “ Throughout the history of our state, security agencies have stood guard over national interests of Russia and protected the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. Your high professionalism, courage and dedication to duty are a reliable shield against external and internal threats.

Aleksey Pesoshin holds a meeting of competition committee “Manager of the Year – 2025”

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

Capital overhaul of 839 multi-apartment houses completed in Tatarstan with 40 houses still being under repairs

On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
