Rustam Minnikhanov: The Program of developing oil-gas-chemical complex may be corrected

Board session of JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” was held in RT Cabinet under chairmanship of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov. Results of activity of RT enterprises of oil-gas-chemical complex in 2010 and objectives for 2011 and a number of perspective projects were discussed at the session.
The state of oil-gas-chemical complex in republic was characterized by stabilization and improvement of financial-economic situation at enterprises. This was said by Director General of JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” Rafinat Yarullin. By his words, increase of production rates was observed almost in all spheres in comparison with 2008. Oil sector has remained the largest source of revenues into republican budget.
Rafinat Yarullin called launch of first stage of oil-refining complex “TANECO” in Nizhenkamsk a significant event in this sphere.
Positive tendencies were marked in tire complex of republic.
Rafinat Yarullin said that one of the main problems existing in the sphere lack of raw materials, which restrains realization of large petrochemical projects in republic.
“Petrochemistry has always been a priority sector in development of Tatarstan economy”, - Rustam Minnikhanov summarized.
Director General of “Vostokneftezavodmontazh” (Ufa) Khalit Bikmukhametov informed about cooperation of enterprises of Bashkortostan Republic and Tatarstan Republic.
President of Tatarstan welcomed such cooperation as far as oil-gas-chemical and engineering complexes of two republics are historically interrelated.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
