Delegation of “Coca-Cola” company intends to visit Kazan

Leadership of “Coca-Cola” company is working out the opportunity of visiting Kazan and issue of sponsorship for World summer student sport games 2013 and participation in different sport programs. This was announced today at briefing in RT Cabinet by Aide to RT President Iskander Muflikhanov.
He told journalists about trip of Tatarstan delegation headed by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov to Davos (Switzerland) in order to take part in World economic forum.
We remind that while staying in Davos Rustam Minnikhanov held negotiations with management of “Coca-Cola” company on issues of possible involvement of this global brand as strategic partner of Universiade-2013 that will be held in Tatarstan capital-Kazan.
Parties discussed course of preparation and holding of Universiade-2013 and actions of Tatarstan on attraction of global companies for sponsoring the competitions.

On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
