RT President Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in work of forum “Russia-2011”

Today President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov is in Moscow to take part in work of Forum “Russia-2011”.
Forum is held on February, 2-4, 2011 in the Centre of international trade (Moscow). It is organized by the company “Troika dialog”. Traditionally forum is the place of meetings for business leaders, investors, heads of state institutions and ministries, famous industry experts and scientists.
According to experts, the forum is a leading annual event in investment sector of Russia and CIS. It is called “Russian Davos” (World economic forum in Davos) because the event in Switzerland is held shortly before the one in Moscow.
In 2010 about 1800 delegates, who represented 51 countries and 600 companies took part in the Forum.
Beginning from 2008 “Forum Russia” represents new format of conducting economic dialog, opportunity to get acquainted with variety of ideas and viewpoints on issues of global development and communicate with leading economists, heads of Russian and international companies , powerful social and political figures and journalists. Other than a lot of panel sessions and theme conferences tete-a-tete meetings with investors are held within the limits of forum.
It is expected that President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov will take part in panel discussion “State administration: challenges for dynamic development”.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
