Transport plan of summer Universiade-2013 presented

The Transport plan of summer Universiade-2013 has been presented to Deputy Minister of transport of Russia Oleg Belozerov and RT President Rustam Minnikhanov.
The document was presented at session of working group on transport infrastructure and logistics of Council under RF President on developing physical culture and sport, elite sport, preparation and holding XXII Olympic winter games and XI Paralympic winter games 2014 in Sochi, XXVII World summer Universiade 2013 and Football championship 2018.
The session of working group was held in Kazan in House of RT Government under chairmanship of Deputy Minister of transport of Russia Oleg Belozerov.
The Transport plan of Universiade-2013 has been developed by specialists of St. Petersburg institute of transport infrastructure.
The principle of heritage is used in the document that implies further long-term use of Kazan transport network and its development. According to the estimates of specialists in the period of holding Universiade 2013 increase of loads on transport network in the city will be considerably exceeded.
In particular, the transport plan implies limitation of private auto transport access to the areas adjoining places of competitions, organization of transportation of sportsmen, spectators and citizens, organization of public transport work, including city electric transport as the main one.
Upon the whole developers of Transport plan of Universiade-2013 propose holding 67 events.
Within the limits of realization of federal target program “Development of transport system of Russia (2010-2015)” and program “Modernization of Unified system of organizing air traffic in RF (2009-2015)”, measures on reconstructing International airport “Kazan” are provided.
Besides, a scheme of Kazan Metro will be progressing.
RT Minister of transport and road construction Lenar Safin told about reconstruction of international airport “Kazan”. Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin mentioned construction and reconstruction of road-street network of Kazan within the limits of preparation for holding summer Universiade 2013.
The issue of providing the disabled free moving was also discussed at the session.
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
