Rustam Minnikhanov and Board Chairman of Gebze industrial zone Vahit Yildirim discuss cooperation on the project of Sviyazhsk logistics center

On November 14, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov and Board Chairman of Gebze organized industrial zone Vahit Yildirim discussed the creation of joint industrial zone at Sviyazhsk logistics center.

Minnikhanov was told that Turkish partners had got familiar with opportunities of transport logistics and advantages of Sviyazhsk logistics center. He added that the joint project of the development of Sviyazhsk logistics center was discussed with Turkish partners in 2015.

Vahit Yildirim, in his turn, said that there are a lot of industrial zones in Turkey, and Sviyazhsk logistics center is of particular interest as it offers all conditions for doing business.

Minnikhanov suggested creating a working group on the joint project of Sviyazhsk logistics center, and emphasized that the republic has wide experience in implementing projects with foreign investors.

The parties agreed to continue discussing the project in a month following the results of the working group.
