On November 15, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian First Deputy Prosecutor General Aleksandr Buksman took part in the opening of the Kazan Law Institute (branch) of the Academy of Prosecutor General's Office.
It is the fourth regional branch of the Academy. Other branches are located in Saint Petersburg, Irkutsk and the Crimea. The Institute will admit up to 100 students. The teaching staff consists of 12 teachers, 9 of which have academic degrees and titles.
Speaking at the event, Buksman said that the institute was opened thanks to the regional leadership. He expressed special gratitude to Minnikhanov, adding that the new university appeared largely due to the initiative of Tatarstan President.
The President of Tatarstan, in his turn, thanked Buksman fo his continuous assistance during the implementation of the educational project.
According to Minnikhanov, the main task today is organise educational process in the new institution properly.
