President of Tatarstan meets with Czech Republic Ambassador

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Russian Federation Petr Kolář today.
“We have been cooperating with Tatarstan fruitfully and successfully for a long time. Our entrepreneurs know that your republic has an enormous potential,” Ambassador of Czechia Petr Kolář said at the meeting with journalists.
Talking about the projects that are being realized, Petr Kolář informed that Czech entrepreneurs were building a trade center in Kazan. There is also a joint project of constructing an emergency hospital in Tatarstan. Czech buses will be supplied for the Universiade to the capital.
“Czechia is a strategic partner of Tatarstan. Almost the whole center of Kazan is illuminated with masts produced by a Czech firm. Czechia for us is a kind of a gate to Europe,” RT President’s aide Iskander Muflikhanov said.
The Czech Republic Ambassador’s visit program includes meetings at RT President’s Administration Department of International Relations, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Commerce, visits to Kazan Federal University, “Idea” technopark and IT-Park, technopolis “Khimgrad”, and also attending the gala-concert of Shalyapin International opera Festival.
Petr Kolář was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Russian Federation in 2010. It is his first visit to Kazan.
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
