Dmitri Medvedev: Anti-terrorist trainings should be held in all regions on regular basis

President of Russia Dmitri Medvedev held meeting of All-Russia coordination meeting with heads of law enforcement bodies in Moscow. Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov attended the event. Key topics for discussion were measures on increasing anti-terrorist security, struggle with organized crime, counteraction to corruption, extremism, reinforcement of public order maintenance.

In All-Russia coordination meeting took part Chairmen of Constitutional and Supreme courts Valeri Zorkin and Vyacheslav Lebedev, Head of President’s Administration Sergei Naryshkin, Secretary of Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, Head of Audit Chamber Sergei Stepashin, Chairman of Russian Investigation Committee Aleksandr Bastrykin, Head of Ministry of interiors Rashid Nurgaliev, Minister of justice Aleksandr Konovalov, Head of Federal Drug Control Service Viktor Ivanov, Director of Federal Security Service Aleksandr Bortnikov, Presidential Plenipotentiaries to federal districts and heads of regions.

Opening the meeting Dmitri Medvedev said that he wants to hear only particular objective results during the discussion.

Dmitri Medvedev called increase of anti-terrorist security level one of priority goals. By words of RF President, anti-terrorist trainings should be held in all regions on regular basis, particularly at transport objects. Also, RF president believes that struggle with criminality should be more efficient.

The President gave assignment to intensify measures on preventing criminality. Special emphasis should be put on juveniles. “One should organize their leisure time, implement new practices which help wayward youth overcome difficult situations in their life. This is the duty of regional and local authorities, firstly”, - Dmitri Medvedev stressed.

Also Dmitri Medvedev ordered to intensify struggle with extremism and counteraction to corruption.
