Ildar Khalikov: The more powerful is the army, the more sound and peaceful is the world

Dear Tatarstaners!

On behalf of RT Government I warmly congratulate you on Defender of the Motherland Day. On February,23 RF armed forces celebrate their main holiday - Defender of the Motherland Day. This holiday is important not only for those who wear shoulder straps, also for those who are not indifferent to words “motherland”, “native land”, “duty”. It is the holiday for manful, strong, people, real patriots of their country. It is a tribute to all who served for good of Motherland, is on military duty or is getting ready to join the Russian Army.

On this special day I want to yield due praise to all whose courage and heroism for centuries helped Russian state to hold on, who did not forget even in the hardest for the country and Armed forces times that a load of responsibility was laid on them.

Today we are recreating great Russia we are proud of, which is held in esteem in the world. Armed Forces are becoming an integral part of our power, the subject of honored pride and respect.
The more powerful is the army, the more sound and peaceful is the world. We are creating strong, mobile and professional army to secure peace and harmony of our citizens. At times at the expense of their life Russian military servants do their duty for the Motherland.

Today our goal is to save centuries-long traditions, increase the power of our country, create conditions for its further development, and consolidate reputation throughout the world. Everyone of us by implementing his or her work honestly, in a responsible manner may contribute into such a good matter.

Today we are sure of reliable protection of out peaceful life. The personnel of Armed Forces is being strengthened, their professional skills, material and technical base are improving. More attention is paid to veterans who made contribution into ensuring combat readiness of the army and fleet.

Out republic also contributes to defence capacity of our country. High potential of Tatarstan enterprises that enter military-industrial complex of the country allows fulfilling the most difficult defense orders. We are proud of our youth which executes military duty with honor in units and subdivisions of RF Ministry of defense.

I congratulate all military servants and their families on Defender of the Motherland Day. I wish your families peaceful sky, strong health, success, optimism and confidence in the future.
