On December 12, Supervisory council of Alabuga Special Economic Zone (SEZ) approved projects of two new residents of Alabuga SEZ - “Alabuga” service metallurgic center and GIS “Nefteservis” with the total amount of investments of more than 1bln roubles.
The Governor of Chelyabinsk region Boris Dubrovsky and Chairman of OAO "Magnitogorsk metallurgical complex" Viktor Rashnikov, and Director General of KAMAZ PJSC Sergey Kogogin took part in the session.
“Alabuga” service metallurgic center will produce steel blanks for automotive industry.
The project was initiated by Magnitogorsk metallurgical complex and Coşkunöz Alabuga, the supplier of moulded parts for automotive industry.
The total amount of investments in the project will make 349 mln roubles. The plant is to be launched in the first quarter of 2018. The future customers of the produce will be Ford Sollers, Nissan, GM-Avtovaz, KamAZ, UAZ, GAZ, Daimler- KamAZ, and Daimler- GAZ.
The production facilities will be provided by Alabuga SEZ. The construction will cost 670 mln roubles.
“Inteco tubing” initiated by GIS “Nefteservis” will produce coil tubing and 637,6 mln roubles will be invested in the project.
Rustam Minnikhanov addressed ministries and agencies with request to help residents implement their projects.
