Rustam Minnikhanov meets Director General of Turkish airlines

On December 15, at his meeting with Director General of Turkish airlines Bilal Ekşi, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Turkish airlines is one of the leading international airlines with high level of service and reliability, good value for money and true Turkish hospitality. He expressed his gratitude that the company continues working in Tatarstan flying from Istanbul to Kazan.

Minnikhanov continued that there are ten Turkish plants working in the republic today. Also, other major economic projects are being implemented. Besides, we have close ties in the sphere of culture, science and education, sport and tourism, and inter-municipal cooperation.

Bilal Ekşi invited Rustam Minnikhanov to visit the company and see their aircrafts. He also informed that the company is planning to increase the number of flights and considering the opportunity of daily flights.

Capital overhaul of 839 multi-apartment houses completed in Tatarstan with 40 houses still being under repairs

On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.

On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “ Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin takes part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize award ceremony

On 1 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize and Medal Award Ceremony held in Kazan Federal University and handed in the award to the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Researcher of the St. Petersburg Department of Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Ivanov who was awarded for the outstanding achievements in fundamental and applied mathematics.
