On 20 May at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan its participants summarized the results of the International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum-2025” held in Kazan on 13-18 May. Speaking to journalists, the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic Shamil Gafarov said: “There were 8 500 participants including 500 representatives of Mass Media. These numbers show the growth of participants number by 5 per cent compared to 25% last year.  We also saw the growth of international participants, signed agreements and Ministers of foreign countries who visited Russia and Tatarstan during these days.”

On 14 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Governor of Smolenks region Vasiliy Anokhin, the Russian Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Irek Fayzullin, the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhamtshin and other regional officials took part in a civil funeral ceremony of Almaz Akhmetshin held in Al-Marjani Mosque in Kazan.

On 9 May at a ceremony of honoring the memory of Soviet Soldiers who fought in the WWII, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Chief of Staff of the regional Cabinet of Ministers Shamil Gafarov, WWII veterans and representatives of the public patriotic and youth organizations laid flowers to graves of the fallen.

On 3 April, speaking at a ceremony of awarding winners of the competition “The Cultural Capital of Tatarstan” held in the Government House of the republic, the regional Minister of Culture Irada Ayupova said the competition has become one of the landmarks in the cultural life of the republic in 2024.
