President of Tatarstan met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany in RF

Tatarstan experience in ensuring interethnic concord is interesting for Germany. This was announced today by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany in RF Ulrich Branderburg at the meeting with President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
The meeting was held in Naberezhnie Chelny with participation of RT Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, Director of Dept. of external relations under RT President - Aide to RT President on international issues Iskander Muflikhanov, Director General of JSC “Tatneft” Shafagat Takhautdinov.
By words of Ulrich Branderburg he was appointed to the post of ambassador in April 2010 and it is his first visit to Tatarstan. Rustam Minnikhanov, in his turn, informed about his recent working visit to Saxony. RT President asked Mr Branderburg say words of gratitude to PM of Saxony Stanislav Tillikh for warm welcome.
Rustam Minnikhanov informed that 46 joint enterprises with participation of German capital are functioning in Tatarstan and republican companies have major projects with German partners. Plant “Preiss-daimler” is functioning in special economic zone “Alabuga”, Nizhnekamskshina cooperates with «Continental» company, “KAMAZ” also has joint projects with German enterprises.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany in RF told that Germany has practical interest towards Tatarstan. By words of Mr Branderburg in mid-June 2011 delegation of German deputies is going to visit Russia. They are interested in issues of interethnic concord in Russia, thus they would like to visit Tatarstan in order to get acquainted with positive experience of republic.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
