On December 23, at Tatarstan Governemnt House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was presented a project of the major multimedia exhibition “Russia is My History”, which is planned to be organized in Kazan next year.
Making a report at the meeting, Vasil Shaikhraziev noted that a year ago a new historical park “Russia is My History” was opened at Moscow's National Exhibition of Economic Achievements. The exhibition is based on the materials of the exhibitions in the “My History” series, which have been attended by more than 1,5 mln people since 2013. Today, the “Russia is My History” is the only multimedia complex, which provides a panoramic, modern and interesting representation of the Russian history from ancient times until 2017. The park features cutting-edge technologies, projection installations, dome areas, large-scale panoramas, "animated" books and a variety of computer applications.
The next step was the decision to open regional sites of the historical park. Thus, exhibition centres «Russia is My History" will be opened in 25 Russian cities, including Kazan.
Vasil Shaikhraziev noted that today the concept of regional exhibition “Russia is My History” is being developed in the republic. It includes the history of Tatarstan and Tatar national state, which is especially important on the threshold of the 100th anniversary of Tatarstan to take place in 2020.
The opening of the historical park in Kazan is scheduled for the fourth quarter of next year.
The meeting also discussed various options to place the exposition, including the Kazanskaya Yarmarka exhibition centre.
Deputy Tatarstan Prime Minister Vasil Shaikhraziev, Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President Asgat Safarov, Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin, heads of ministries and departments of the republic took part in the event.
