More than 7 thousand school children gathered at regional New Year’s party

On December 25, more than 7 thousand school children gathered at regional New Year’s party at Tatneft-Arena complex in Kazan.

Children from different regions of the republic were invited to the event that was filled with dances and songs performed by participants of “Sozvezdie-Yoldyzlyk” (“Constellation”) festival.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed the audience saying that it has become a good tradition to invite the best children from all over the republic on New Year’s Eve.

“Tatarstan takes up leading positions in many areas. But the most important thing is that were rich in achievements of our children. We are ranked third by the number of winners of different school Olympiads today. Our children, sportsmen, who took part in European and Russian competitions, have received more than 500 awards. You are the example and pride for your friends. We are proud of you! You are our future!,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
