Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in meeting on improving tools of innovative development in regions

March, 14. President of Tatarstan Republic is in Tomsk with working visit. He took part in meeting on improving tools of innovative development in regions. The meeting was held by Chairman of RF Government Vladimir Putin.
According to Head of Russian government it is obvious that successful modernization of economy, development of business aimed at efficient use of intellect and knowledge largely determine projects in Russian regions.
Currently 24 special economic zones, 13 technology cities are functioning in Russia. Technoparks in the sphere of high technologies are developing in 12 regions. By and large, state has already invested 28,3 bln. roubles into infrastructure of techno-innovative zones. In 2011 more than 17,5 bln. roubles are allocated by federal budget for developing all special economic zones, technoparks and technology cities.
RF Prime Minister suggested “to think about giving a chance to small enterprises of getting the resident status at special economic zones more easily”.
Head of RF Government reminded that more innovative regions had created Association of innovative regions to exchange experience.
Russian Minister of communications Igor Shegolev informed that within the limits of federal program technoparks in Tyumen, Tatarstan, Novosibirsk and Kemerovo region had been built.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
On 31 March in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva hold a meeting of the Commission on the Russian language under the Rais of Tatarstan, which considered key issues of supporting and developing Russian language, including new educational initiatives and discussed programmes of popularization of Russian literature and activities to preserve the language heritage.
On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin informed that the regional central cleaning up action will be held in the republic on 25 April and clarified that the location of the national cleanup day will be announced later as the site will be chosen taking into account the opinions of Tatarstan residents.
On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin informed about statistics on the collection of utility bills payments from the population and data on the payment discipline of enterprises and organizations of the republic.
