Staff on preparation for opening Universiade-2013 to meet monthly under leadership of RT President

Preparation for opening World summer Universiade-2013 will be monthly discussed at session of special staff under chairmanship of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov. Such decision was made at the meeting of Head of republic with Head of production company “ARS” Igor Krutoi and artist, scene-designer and producer Boris Krasnov. Issues of preparing ceremonies of opening and closing student Games 2013 were discussed at meeting that took place in Moscow. Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin, RT Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Rafis Burganov took part in the event.

By words of RT President unique character of multiethnic Kazan and whole Russia should be reflected in the opening ceremony.

Igor Krutoi asked Head of Tatarstan put much emphasis on issues of preparing the ceremonies.

Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin promised to involve a large team of historians, choreographers and actors into creation of ceremony.

The order of first-priority actions was determined in course of session. Staff on preparation for opening Universiade-2013 will meet monthly under leadership of RT President.
