President of Tatarstan meets Head of United Industrial Corporation “Oboronprom”

Issues of developing JSC “Kazan helicopters plant” were discussed at the meeting between President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov and Director-general of United Industrial Corporation “Oboronprom” Andrei Reus. The meeting took place in House of RT Government with participation of RT Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, Director-general of JSC KMPO (Kazan motor production association) Damir Karimullin, Director-general of JSC “Kazan helicopters plant” Vadim Ligai and advisor to RT Prime Minister Nazir Kireev.

Issues of developing JSC “Kazan helicopters plant” as part of holding “Helicopters of Russia” within were discussed at the meeting. It was noted that the holding provides progressive raising of amount of plant’s orders. Tatarstan party also paid attention to acceleration of elaboration of new helicopters Ми-17В5, Ми-38 and “Anstat” and solving of problems connected with realization of technical re-equipment and reconstruction of JSC “Kazan helicopters plant”.

Increase of financing of modernization areas including increase of net profit share was discussed likewise at the meeting.

Issue of starting cooperation between JSC KMPO and division of energy mechanical engineering of United motor-building corporation, a part of United Industrial Corporation “Oboronprom” was discussed in the course of meeting between Rustam Minnikhanov and Andrei Reus.

Corporation “Oboronprom” is a diversified industrial-investment group in the sphere of mechanical engineering and high technologies. The main shareholder of the company is Russian Federation. 7,53 % of “Oboronprom” share belongs to Tatarstan Republic.

Holding “Helicopters of Russia” including JSC “Kazan helicopters plant” is a part of United Industrial Corporation “Oboronprom”.
