Rustam Minnikhanov: Development of petrochemistry is a serious area for Tatarstan and Russia in whole

“Development of petrochemistry is a serious area for Tatarstan and Russia in whole”, - RT President Rustam Minnikhanov said in Nizhnekamsk after the meeting with participation of RF Deputy Minister of energy Sergei Kudryashov.
The meting was held on the territory of JSC “Nizhnekamskneftehim” and was dedicated to development of oil-gas-chemical industry in Tatarstan and Bashkortostan.
Rustam Minnikhanov informed that by the example of large petrochemical plants located in Tatarstan he wanted to show how small and medium business may develop on their bases.
“As far as further development of oil-gas-chemical complex is concerned we are at the cross-roads”, - Rustam Minnikhanov said. “We have already addressed Vice-premier of RF government Igor Sechin on this issue”, - he added.
RT President believes that further development will depend on extending capacities of pyrolysis, therefore new production units will emerge. “Strategic objectives we’ve discussed today are to be implemented in order to realize it”, - Rustam Minnikhanov said.
“We’ve seen concrete projects today in course of meeting and we discussed ways of their realization and delivery of raw materials”, - RF Deputy Minister of energy Sergei Kudryashov said.
On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation.
The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.
On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
