Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in 13th All-Russia competitions in Fire-Applied Sport for the Cup of Tatarstan Prime Minister

On February 3, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in an opening ceremony of the 13th All-Russia Competitions in Fire-Applied Sport for the Cup of Tatarstan Prime Minister and the 8th Championship in Fire-Applied Sport of the Volga Regional Center of Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

Twenty-six teams from Russian regions are taking part in competitions.

“I sincerely welcome participants of competitions and would like to thank teams for their participation. These competitions are of great value to us. We started this project when I worked as the Prime Minister of the republic and it was very successful. The professionalism and skills, you demonstrate at the competitions, are very important for your work, when you render professional help in emergency situations to our citizens,” Minnikhanov said at the opening ceremony.

According to Minnikhanov, the results of work of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Russia and its departments in the republic and other Russian regions show that specialists of the Ministry cope with their duties in a professional manner.

"The best of the best, a total of 26 teams are taking part in competitions. I would like to wish you all good competitions and victory. This is not just a sport, it is an extreme sport, " Tatarstan President said.
