Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Vasil Shaikhraziev welcomes participants of Russian Ski Track 2017 National Race in Kazan

On February 18, more than 20,000 Kazan citizens took part in the Russian Ski Track 2017 National Race.
On behalf of Tatarstan Government and President of the republic, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Vasil Shaikhraziev welcomed participants of the event.
"I am glad that it is the 13th time the capital of our republic, Kazan, is hosting the Russian Ski Track 2017. Following a good tradition, more than 20,000 citizens are taking part in it. The most important thing is that our people are sports-oriented, they participate in the competition together with their families, in groups, lead an active healthy lifestyle. We have all the opportunities to foster in children love for sports and a healthy lifestyle," he said.

On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
