RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov congratulated Mr Rasul Shayan on appointment to the post of Consul-general of Iran in Kazan

Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov met with Consul-general of Islamic Republic Iran in Kazan Rasul Bagernezhad Shayan in RT Cabinet.
On behalf of Tatarstan government Ildar Khalikov congratulated Mr Rasul Shayan on appointment to the post of Consul-general of Iran in Kazan.
“It is a very responsible post and many contacts established between Islamic Republic Iran and Tatarstan as one of Russia’s regions speak about it”, - RT Prime Minister said.
He also noted that mutually beneficial cooperation between Tatarstan and Iran had become especially intensive for the last few years. Ildar Khalikov considers that cooperation is most seriously developed in cultural and humanitarian spheres. Particularly he noted such projects as help of Iran in providing books and literature for Tatarstan universities, student exchange and help with teaching Persian language.
RT Prime Minister reminded that government of Iran presented carpets for Kul Sharif Mosque in Kazan.
Ildar Khalikov also informed that one more project is being realized today – publication of works of Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukai in Farsi language,
“We see many prospects for developing our cooperation, especially in economic sector, in establishing relations between industrial enterprises of Tatarstan and Iran.
For information: Consulate general of Islamic Republic Iran was opened in Kazan in December 2007 within the limits of agreement between governments of Russian Federation and Islamic Republic Iran.
First Consul-general of Iran in Kazan Reza Bagban Kondori completed his work in February 2011 in connection with transfer to another job.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects.
