5 April 2017, Wednesday

On April 5, at the Korston Entertainment Complex, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held the 4th extended meeting of the Tatarstan Presidential Council for Entrepreneurship.

In his welcoming speech, Minnikhanov said that these meetings are effective in addressing pressing issues of the business sector. Today, 1000 entrepreneurs and about 250 representatives of government agencies are engaged in 50 project groups. About 300 meetings are held annually.

“A lot of issues that are raised at these meetings are very complicated and sometimes require a decision at the federal level. Members of the State Duma of Russia, who will also lobby for some topics, are present here today. The problems, that we are discussing, are basically systemic ones related to each region," he said.

Tatarstan President suggested entrepreneurs that they should make a business rating of municipalities and tell them about conditions that have been created for the business development in certain regions and cities.

Then, leaders of project groups made their reports on such topics as the establishing of limitations for the use of online cash registers in sparsely-populated settlements, the ensuring of equal access for farmers to Tatarstan's fairs, the legalizing of the redevelopment of non-residential premises, the reducing of excessive safety requirements for transport, etc.
