Alexander Khloponin was presented the project of an integrated system for monitoring the movement of municipal solid waste at Kazan City Hall

On April 7, at the Kazan City Hall, a presentation of an integrated control system for monitoring the movement of municipal solid waste with automatic weight control using the Platon system was made for Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Khloponin, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan yesterday.

At the Russian Government, Khloponin is in charge of such areas as environmental safety and waste management.

Director General of RT-Invest Transport Systems Andrey Shipelov presented an integrated control system for monitoring the the movement of municipal solid waste. He said, in particular, that trucks with permissible weight of over 12 tonnes are registered in the Platon system. There are more than 2 million units of such trucks in the country, all of them are connected to the Platon charging system and equipped with GLONASS tracking systems in accordance with the law. Some of the trucks dispose municipal solid waste and are already equipped with navigation control systems.
