Restored historic-architectural monuments opened in island –town Sviyazhsk

«Important changes occurring today in island – town Sviyazhsk are noticeable for everybody, we are witnesses how the island is being transformed», - RT President Rustam Minnikhanov said today participating in opening tourist season in island –town Sviyazhsk .

If today some Federation subjects in attempt to attract tourists are searching historical specifics of their regions, then our region enjoys them and we must be involved in this, Rustam Minnikhanov is confident. By his words, the works on reconstruction and restoration of historical-architectural monuments in Sviyazhsk are being accomplished for the benefit of all people of Tatarstan and Russia as a whole, these monuments of architecture should be preserved for all. «People need their history, - Rustam Minnikhanov. – Our children must know their history, see it and learn».

Restoration works are conducted for the means of the companies investors and republican fund «Revival» (republican fund of reviving Tatarstan monuments of history and culture).

President of Tatarstan reminded that toady the two historic-architectural objects have been officially opened – this is Complex of buildings of state constructions, which had been restored by the efforts of TAIF group of companies », and House of merchant Kamenev (trade-hotel complex «House of Kamenev»),which had been restored for sponsors funds of ООО «Behetle».

Rustam Minnikhanov delivered Letter of gratitude from RT President to general director of JSC «TAIF» Albert Shigabutdinov for rendered promotion and restoration of Sviyazhsk appearance and restoration one of the demolished objects . He expressed hope that TAIF group would continue to render help to island town , in particular , «saturate Complex of buildings of state constructions with museum exhibits.

Letter of gratitude was also handed out to general director of the Behetle company Muslima Latypova (for works on restoration of merchant Kamenev House).

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, RT State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev and accompanied him persons saw Complex of buildings of state constructions and assessed quality of works on reconstruction and construction, beautification of territory.
