President of Tatarstan visited constructing objects of APEC 2012 summit

Today President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has made a working trip to the Primorsky Krai. In Vladivostok, the head of Tatarstan met with Primorye Governor Sergei Darkin, saw constructing objects of APEC-2012 summit and met with the Tatar Diaspora.
Rustam Minnikhanov visited gambling zone «Primorye». Here he questioned the cost of energy resources and communal services and mentioned the necessity of developing infrastructure. Only in this case, by view of RT President, the investors might appear in a gambling zone.
«The most important task is infrastructure. It costs big money. We have already invested to our special economic zone Alabuga 14 bln. roubl and it still needs to be invested more. You have the same situation, addressed Rustam Minnikhanov to the managers of gambling zone .
At Russky island Rustam Minnikhanov examined APEC summit objects – bridge crossing through Bosfor Vostochny strait and a complex of buildings of the Far East Federal university. This is one the most large scale projects in the light to preparing APEC summit - 2012.
Rustam Minnikhanov attended conference center of the Far East federal university where the major events are expected to be held related to APEC summit, sports and tourist complexes.
«I am very must impressed by what have I seen. A grandiose construction. Such a university I have seen nowhere»,- stated Rustam Minnikhanov later opening a meeting with the Tatar Diaspora.
Presently 14.5 ths Tatars live in Primorsky Krai On June 25, a Sabantui is scheduled in Primorye and Rustam Minnikhanov promised that a delegation from Tatarstan would participate in a festive.
During the meeting, the members of Tatar Diaspora offered to hold All-Russia Sabantui in 2012 in Primorye.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
