6 000 people to be attracted for the opening ceremony of Universiade

6 000 people are planned to be attracted for a grand opening ceremony of World summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan. Such an information was presented at a meeting of RT President with producers Igor Krutoi and Boris Krasnov. The meeting was attended also by Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin, RT Minister for youth affairs, sport and tourism Rafis Burganov and Head of Universiade Directorate Vladimir Leonov.
Creative group of Igor Krutoi and Boris Krasnov is being taken by Tatarstan authorities as authors of the opening and closing ceremony of Universiade 2013. Final decision regarding this issue should be made by organization committee of Universiade. Today Rustam Minnikhanov informed that the issue would be discussed on May, 23 at the next meeting of organization committee held by First Vice-premier of Russia Igor Shuvalov.
On behalf of creative group Igor Krutoi thanked President of Tatarstan for given trust. By his words, opening ceremony of Universiade 2013 will be the largest project of the creative group.
By words of producer, 5-6 thousand people will take part in the ceremony. It is planned to attract as many actors and dancers from Tatarstan as possible.
Igor Krutoi and Boris Krasnov presented to Rustam Minnikhanov a number of ideas that should be realized at the opening ceremony. President Tatarstan in his turn also made some proposals regarding conception of the ceremony.
Rustam Minnikhanov charged Head of Universiade Directorate Vladimir Leonov to prepare presentation of possibilities of creative group for members of organization committee together with Igor Krutoi and Boris Krasnov and present it at a session on May, 23.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
