Rustam Minnkhanov: Saint Petersburg is not just one big museum but also one of Russia’s centers developed in terms of investments

Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov is to Russia’s Northern capital for a one-day working visit. Early today he attended the opening of the monument to the poet Musa Jalil on Vasilyevsky Island (Gavanskaya Str).
At the meeting with Valentine Matvienko, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the Saint Petersburg Governor for the warm welcome given to the Tatarstan delegation.
Rustam Minnikhanov said each time he comes to Saint Petersburg he sees the city and its appearance changing for the best. Saint Petersburg is not just one big museum but also one of Russia’s centers developed in terms of investments. A lot of the credit for that should be given to the city administration and Governor Valentima Matvienko.
On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “
Throughout the history of our state, security agencies have stood guard over national interests of Russia and protected the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. Your high professionalism, courage and dedication to duty are a reliable shield against external and internal threats.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
