Boris Gryzlov: It is possible to held Universiade in Kazan already this summer

“It is possible to held Universiade in Kazan already this summer”, - Chairman of State Duma of the Federal Assembly Boris Gryzlov announced in the interview with Kazan journalists. We remind that Chairman of RF State Duma is in Tatarstan capital with one-day working visit.
“Though there is time till opening Universiade 2013 Kazan is ready to host competitions right now”, - Bois Gryzlov noted answering questions of representatives of local mass media. Everything needed for World student sport games will be done and won’t remain useless.
By his words all sport objects constructed for Universiade are being actively used today by citizens. Moreover, there are sport teams in Kazan which take leading positions at Russian championships in many kinds of sport. Universiade Village is already being occupied by students, B.Gryzlov stressed.
Within the limits of his program in Tatarstan Boris Gryzlov visited Centre of volleyball “St. Petersburg”, swimming pool “Burevestnik” and Universiade Village where he was told about conditions to be offered to sportsmen and demonstrated how Kazan students live there now. Mayor of Universiade Village Farid Abdulganiev presented more detailed information. Boris Gryzlov saw living premises, study and rest rooms, territory of Universiade Village.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
